On November 15, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University’s (ASOIU) AzII e-Book House hosted the “COP29” book exhibition as part of the "Green World Solidarity Year."

The exhibition showcased publications authored by ASOIU’s faculty members as well as materials contributed to the AzII e-Book House by individuals and organizations. These works cover topics such as the socio-economic development goals of becoming a “clean environment and green growth country,” environmental protection, green ecology, reforestation, sustainable use of water resources, and renewable energy.  

Additionally, the exhibition featured books, journals, and other materials on the installation of purification facilities, rehabilitation of oil-contaminated lands in oil and gas production areas, greening and revitalizing degraded land, conservation of the Caspian Sea's coastal waters and marine life, and mitigating the impacts of climate change.  

With over 80 publications on display, the exhibition will continue through the end of 2024, expanding to include new additions to the AzII e-Book House's collection.
