On November 20, the leadership of the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), visiting Azerbaijan within the framework of the 29th session of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), visited Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

The guests, including UAEU’s Vice-Rector, Professor Ahmed Ali Al Raeesi, and the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Mohammed Alyafei, were introduced to the facilities at ASOIU and met with Acting Rector, Associate Professor Vazeh Askarov.

The meeting, also attended by ASOIU’s vice-rectors, focused on discussing collaborative opportunities between the two universities. Topics included student and faculty exchange programs, joint scientific projects, representation in international ranking platforms, and the sharing of educational practices. Both sides expressed confidence in the success of the planned joint initiatives.
