On November 25, the Department of Humanitarian Disciplines at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) organized a meeting with the families of martyr alumni. The event was attended by the families of alumni who sacrificed their lives for the homeland: Mahammadali Ibrahimli, Alihuseyn Mammadov, and Davud Gurbanov.
The event began with the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, followed by a moment of silence to honor the memory of the martyrs.
Head of the Department of Humanities, Professor Jamal Mustafayev, delivered a speech, highlighting the invincibility of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces and the noble sacrifice of the martyrs. He emphasized that the martyrs are a source of pride for the nation, and their cherished memories will forever live in the hearts of the people.
Additional speeches were made by Professor Lala Bakirova, Head of the Department of Instrumentation Engineering, and Associate Professor Yashar Ahmadov from the Department of Humanitarian Disciplines, who spoke about the martyrs’ heroic journeys and the historic victory of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.
ASOIU students Aghajamal Aslanov and Rahima Asgarova gave presentations on the Karabakh War and the martyrs, while Farda Migdad recited a poem in tribute to their memory.
Mothers of the martyrs shared heartfelt memories of their sons and offered advice to the younger generation, inspiring them with stories of courage and resilience.
