On December 10, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) held an event titled “FUZULI-530,” dedicated to the 530th anniversary of the renowned poet Mahammad Fuzuli.
Associate Professor of the Department of Humanitarian Disciplines, Konul Abdullayeva, welcomed the participants and spoke about the great poet’s literary legacy and the nationwide celebration of his anniversary.
Member of Parliament, Professor Aydin Mirzazade, highlighted the invaluable heritage of the immortal poet and noted that President Ilham Aliyev’s decree on the 530th anniversary of Mahammad Fuzuli reflects the value placed on his legacy.
Representatives from the Manuscripts Institute of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), Nurana Alekperova, and Jala Rustamova delivered reports on Fuzuli’s life and works.
The event concluded with the performance “Mahammad Fuzuli’s Legacy Today.”
