On December 10, an event was held at the Oil and Gas Institute of the Ministry of Science and Education with representatives from Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU). ASOIU staff delivered a presentation focusing on enhancing the university’s international reputation. Key themes included the necessity of active involvement in international ranking frameworks, their benefits to higher education institutions like ASOIU, and actionable pathways for bolstering participation.
Participants included Acting Executive Director, Professor Vagif Gurbanov, Scientific Secretary and PhD in Earth Sciences Shalala Huseynova, Head of the International Relations Department Nazrin Erdogan, as well as ASOIU’s project manager Elmar Guliyev, international project manager Orkhan Nabiyev, Head of the Internal Quality Assurance Sector of the Science and Education Analytical Center Rashad Shikhiyev, and Specialist of the Strategy and Promotion Sector Shamil Ahmadov.
