Following the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a moment of silence was observed in honor of the founder of independent Azerbaijan, National Leader Heydar Aliyev, and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the homeland. A film dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the National Leader was then screened.

In his speech, Acting Rector of ASOIU, Associate Professor Vazeh Askarov, welcomed the attendees and spoke about the unparalleled contributions of the great leader Heydar Aliyev to the Azerbaijani people and nation.
