Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) has reaffirmed its leadership in sustainability by being included for the first time in the prestigious GreenMetric World University Rankings 2024. ASOIU proudly ranks 5th in Azerbaijan and 788th globally!

With a total score of 5,640 points, ASOIU achieved remarkable results in the following areas:
Green Transportation: 1,385 points
Education and Research: 1,250 points
Energy and Climate Change: 1,060 points

This achievement underscores ASOIU’s commitment to sustainability, environmental responsibility, and its dedication to building a greener future. The rankings evaluate the sustainability performance of 1,477 universities across 95 countries.
