On March 5, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) hosted a meeting with the Rector of Karaganda Buketov University, Kazakhstan.
Welcoming the guests, ASOIU Rector, Associate Professor Rufat Azizov, provided a comprehensive overview of the university. He spoke about the academic programs, partnerships, ongoing projects, and dual-degree programs, as well as ASOIU’s strategic goals. Highlighting the growing cooperation with Kazakhstani universities, he emphasized the shared trends between the institutions and underlined the importance of collaborative scientific research projects.
Rector of Karaganda Buketov University, Nurlan Orynbasarovich, introduced his university, detailing its academic and research activities. He noted the increasing governmental support for higher education and scientific innovation and expressed keen interest in expanding collaboration with ASOIU in various fields.
At the end of the meeting, commemorative gifts were presented to the guests.
The delegation also visited ASOIU’s History Museum, the Cybersecurity Center, and various laboratories, where they were introduced to the university’s infrastructure and research facilities.
