On March 4, the Career Center of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) organized an interactive training session on financial technologies (Fintech) for students.
Speakers at the training included: Sinan Aliyev, Head of the Information Security Department at MPAY; Ramis Ramazanov, Head of the Fraud Monitoring Department at PashaPay; Leyla Aliyeva, Representative of the Financial Markets Partnership Development and Promotion Department at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
Each speaker shared their experiences and expertise, providing valuable insights into current trends and future opportunities in the Fintech sector.
The training covered key topics such as: enhancing financial literacy; the role of digital transformation in the financial sector; IT governance in Fintech organizations; and the latest trends in fraud prevention. Additionally, discussions focused on accelerating the adoption of new technologies in Azerbaijan and building effective collaboration between startups, investors, and financial institutions.
The purpose of the training was to increase students’ financial literacy, discuss the role of digital transformation in Fintech, and introduce career opportunities in the field.
This initiative aimed to enhance students’ knowledge and skills in Fintech while providing them with a broader understanding of career prospects in this rapidly growing sector.
