On March 5, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) hosted a meeting with female students in honour of International Women’s Day as part of the “Double Hour” project, under the theme “Be the Architect of Your Own Story!” The event focused on discussions about career development and the challenges women face on their professional journey.
The keynote speaker, Malahat Abdullayeva, Director of the Human Resources Department at the International Bank of Azerbaijan (ABB), shared her professional experience. She emphasized the importance of developing soft skills and gaining personal experience as key factors in career growth. M. Abdullayeva also highlighted self-improvement, professional development, and the essential skills required for success in the workplace. Additionally, she provided practical advice on navigating career paths as a woman and meeting the demands of the modern job market.
At the end of the event, participants’ questions were answered, and special gifts were presented to the most active attendees.
