On March 13, a meeting of the Young Scientists Association of the Faculty of Chemical Technology was held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

The event was attended by faculty members, doctoral students, master's students, and undergraduate students. In his speech, the chairman of the association, a lecturer at the "Petrochemical Technology and Industrial Ecology" department, PhD in Chemistry, Ali Alizade, emphasized that the association was established to support young researchers, contribute to their scientific activities, and create a platform for academic discussions.

As part of the meeting, guest speaker Farid Guliyev, Head of the Department of Workplace Certification, Standardization, and Certification at the "Occupational Safety Center" under the State Labor Inspectorate, delivered a presentation on "Current issues in occupational safety in industry and the role of scientists in this field." He provided insights into existing challenges in occupational safety, the implementation of international best practices, and the contribution of scientific research to this field.

At the end of the event, participants' questions were addressed, and the importance of such meetings was emphasized. Additionally, recommendations were given to association members for their future activities.
