Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) has already obtained international accreditation for 18 programs, with plans to accredit 10 more. Specifically, three undergraduate programs—Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, and Environmental Engineering—are being prepared for ASIIN International Accreditation, while seven other programs are being prepared for FIBAA International Accreditation.

As part of the preparation process, on March 14, ASOIU’s Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs, Professor Latafat Gardashova, and Vice-Rector for Administrative Affairs, Associate Professor Sayami Huseynov, held a meeting with responsible staff to discuss the accreditation process. The meeting focused on analyzing existing shortcomings in the preparation of the 10 designated programs and outlining the necessary steps to ensure successful accreditation.
