On April 9, the Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Associate Professor Rufat Azizov, held a meeting with the delegation of the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency (ADSEA).

The meeting was attended by Asad Shirinov, Advisor to the Chairman of ADSEA; Riad Akhundzade, Head of the Department for Strategy, International Cooperation and Science; Aliaga Azizov, Head of the Science and Innovation Sector; as well as ASOIU staff members. The discussion focused on the regulation of water reserves and the training of engineering personnel in the management of water resources. Modern approaches to water resource management and the training of highly qualified professionals in this field were also emphasized, and potential areas of cooperation were explored.

Both sides expressed their interest in selecting a joint direction of activity on the management of water resources through modern technologies, the development of international cooperation in this field, and expanding collaboration to support the training of engineers specialized in water management and the advancement of the sector.

At the end of the meeting, the guests visited the university's laboratories and became acquainted with its material and technical infrastructure.
