Baylar Zarbaliyev, a joint PhD candidate at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) and the University of Strasbourg, and an alumnus of UFAZ, has been awarded the Best Oral Presentation Prize at the 40th Annual Congress of the French Zeolite Association (Groupe Français des Zéolithes – GFZ).
Held in France, the congress brought together leading international researchers in the fields of porous materials, zeolites, and related disciplines. It served as an important platform for sharing the latest scientific findings, cutting-edge research, and emerging technologies.
Baylar Zarbaliyev’s presentation, based on a portion of his doctoral research, was recognized by the congress jury for its scientific excellence, clarity of communication, and innovative approach. Competing among high-level researchers, he stood out in a highly competitive environment and was honored with the Best Oral Presentation Award, sponsored by TotalEnergies.
