On April 14, a presentation ceremony for the textbooks “Modeling of Physical Processes” and “Molecular Physics and Thermodynamics” was held at the AzII e-Book House of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU). The textbooks were co-authored by Professor Musaver Musayev, Head of the Department of Physics, along with Dunyamaddin Askarov, Aynur Jafarova, and Narmin Hashimova.
Opening the event, the Director of the AzII e-Book House, Salahat Mahmudova, welcomed the participants and introduced the content and significance of both textbooks.
Following the opening remarks, ASOIU’s Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs, Professor Latafat Gardashova, emphasized the academic significance of the textbooks, particularly for students, and noted that they are worthy of high appreciation. Speaking about the integration of artificial intelligence into physics in modern scientific research, Professor Latafat Gardashova emphasized the relevance of these textbooks for understanding and applying contemporary technical processes.
The event continued with an open discussion, during which both the authors and participants shared their thoughts on the textbooks and underlined their importance as educational resources.
It should be noted that both textbooks are written following the undergraduate curriculum of technical universities. They are intended not only for ASOIU students but also for students and faculty of all technical higher education institutions. The textbooks were published in 2024 by the ASOIU publishing house and are available both in print and in the university library’s electronic database.
