On November 12, a delegation led by the Pro-rector for Academic Affairs of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Associate Professor Rza Mammadov, and the Advisor on Educational Issues at the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Turkey, Najiba Nasibova, were on an official visit to Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, one of Turkey's prestigious higher education and research centers.

As part of the visit, ASOIU delegates visited various faculties and scientific-research laboratories at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, becoming closely acquainted with the capabilities of the teaching and research environment.

During the meeting, a broad exchange of views was held on cooperation opportunities between the two universities in the fields of science, education, and research, as well as prospects for implementing joint projects. The parties exchanged views on the educational programs applied at ASOIU and Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, international partnership experiences, and innovative research directions.

Additionally, issues of expanding cooperation in areas such as student and teacher exchange between the two higher education institutions, preparation of joint scientific publications, and strengthening relations between laboratories and scientific-research centers were discussed.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to implement joint scientific projects in the future, organize international conferences, and continue the mutual exchange of experience.
