On December 16, the opening ceremony of the XXVIII Republican Scientific Conference of Doctoral Students and Young Researchers (NASCO XXVIII) dedicated to the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty" was held at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

The opening ceremony of the conference was attended by the Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, scientists, researchers, doctoral students, young scientists from various higher education institutions of the country, as well as official guests and university rectors.

As part of the conference, the heads of higher education institutions visiting ASOIU visited the modern research laboratories and computer rooms of the university, as well as UFAZ operating under ASOIU. The guests were provided with detailed information about ASOIU's scientific infrastructure, innovative laboratories and research conducted there. They highly appreciated the university's material and technical base.

It should be noted that the NASCO XXVIII Republican Scientific Conference serves to develop the scientific environment in the country, expand inter-university cooperation, and reveal the scientific potential of young researchers.

The conference will end on December 17.
