NASCO XXVIII Successfully Concluded at ASOIU After Two Days: Over 600 Articles Accepted for the Conference

The XXVIII Republican Scientific Conference of PhD Students and Young Researchers (NASCO XXVIII), dedicated to the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty," has successfully concluded at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

Held with the joint organization of the Ministry of Science and Education, the State Agency for Science and Higher Education, and ASOIU, the conference was attended by state officials, local and foreign guests, renowned scientists, rectors of higher education institutions, faculty members, PhD students, and young researchers.

The opening ceremony of the conference was held on December 16 with the participation of Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, and the event commenced its work. The conference was memorable for establishing important cooperative relations in the field of science and education, conducting scientific discussions, bringing together research scientists, and featuring scientific presentations and hearings.

Within the framework of the event, memoranda envisioning the expansion of mutual cooperation between ASOIU and several of the country's leading higher education institutions were signed. The heads of higher education institutions who were guests of the university also familiarized themselves with the material-technical base of ASOIU.

The two-day conference continued its work with panel sessions and section meetings. Within the framework of the conference, discussions were held in two panel sessions dedicated to topics relevant to the scientific community: "Science-Based Innovation" and "The Immortal Legacy of Academic Yusif Mammadaliyev and Prospects of Modern Chemistry."

Continuing with section meetings, plenary sessions were organized in five scientific directions: Natural Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics and ICT, Social and Humanitarian Sciences, and Public Sciences. Certificates were presented to the participants at the end of the conference.

It should be noted that the XXVIII Republican Scientific Conference of PhD Students and Young Researchers dedicated to the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty" holds a leading position in overall indicators with 609 participants. Over 600 scientific articles were accepted for the conference. Theses were received from PhD students and young researchers representing 61 higher education institutions and scientific research institutes from Azerbaijan and 11 from foreign countries.
