On December 26, an event dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Professor Razim Zeynalov, Candidate of Technical Sciences, was held at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU). The jubilee event began with the playing of the State Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan and a minute of silence in memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for our territorial integrity. Following this, a video dedicated to the life and work of the professor was shown.

Speaking with the opening speech at the event, ASOIU Rector, Associate Professor Rufat Azizov, discussed Professor Razim Zeynalov's many years of activity in the field of science and education, and his contributions to the university and the country's science as a whole. He congratulated the celebrant on his 85th birthday and 65th anniversary of professional activity, wishing him robust health and success.

The celebrant, Razim Zeynalov, expressed his gratitude for the attention and care shown, shared his memories related to the university, and emphasized that the value given to science and education has always been a core principle for him.

Also speaking at the event were Academician Ali Abbasov, Academician Rasim Aliguliyev, Elmir Valizade (representative of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan), MP Tahir Mirkişili, Elchin Zeynalov (Razim Zeynalov's son and Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan), as well as ASOIU Professor Chingiz Abdullayev and Associate Professor Farid Agayev (Dean of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Management). They discussed Razim Zeynalov's scientific and pedagogical activities, his services in the enlightenment of youth, and his public role. They highly praised the celebrant's rich life path, scientific-pedagogical, and public activities. They congratulated Professor Razim Zeynalov on his anniversary, wishing him robust health and success.
