Initiated by the Faculty of Economics and Management, the Professional Management Forum was held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) on December 23. Opening the event after the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Dean of the Economics and Management Faculty, Associate Professor Ilham Rustamov thanked ASOIU Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli for the support to hold the Forum.

Ilham Rustamov said the purpose of the Forum is to give an opportunity to young professionals having already succeeded in the business sector to share their knowledge, skills, and experience with students. He also added that the main target is to deliver interesting and useful information to young people planning to become a specialist in business spheres in the future. I. Rustamov said he believes that the Forum will be useful for everyone, thus advised the students to listen attentively to presentations of the speakers.

The presented lectures and speakers at the Professional Management Forum were: “Economy of the new era and factors surrounding it” by CEO of Invex Team Innovations & Experimentations Alirza Karimli, “Requirements of the innovation period” by designer and owner of Tomstil Gulshan Mehdiyeva, “Risk management in enterprises” by Head of Risk Management Department at Bank of Baku Ulvi Yusifov, “Career development: Strategic planning” by HR Director at Caspian Shipping CJSC Sevda Mammadova, “Enterprise management” by CEO of Technol Murad Rafiyev, “Building of corporate finance in companies” by Financial Director of Akabe Construction Vugar Poladov and “Enterprise strategy” by CEO of Destec Group LLC Sakit Samadov. After each presentation, the speakers conducted a Q&A session. 

At the end, the Forum participants were given certificates of attendance.
