Guljannat Mammadova, a doctoral student in Composite Materials Technology at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), participated in the conference of the UK Society for Biomaterials held at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom.

During the conference, Guljannat Mammadova presented her research entitled “Carbopol/Poly(vinyl alcohol) Blends and Complexes for Drug Delivery” in poster format. The study focuses on the development and characterisation of potential polymer-based systems for drug delivery applications. As part of the research, the properties of blends and complexes based on Carbopol and poly(vinyl alcohol) were examined, along with their potential applications in drug delivery.

The conference provided an opportunity for scientists and researchers working in the fields of biomaterials and drug delivery to exchange scientific knowledge and experience, discuss new research ideas, and establish international connections.
