The University of Szeged (Hungary) hosted an International Cultural Night on April 14.
At the cultural night attended by 230 guests, foreign students had a chance to present their national songs and dances. They also took part in the cooking competition. Azerbaijani students enrolled in the same university also joined this cultural night, presenting national dances and some pieces from our cuisine. Nazrin Bakirova, an alumna of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University and currently a Master’s student in International Economics and Business at the University of Szeged, was among the students as well.
Starting their performance with Muslim Magomayev’s “Azerbaijan” song, Azerbaijani students colored the night with Tofig Guliyev’s “Biz mehriban ailəyik” song (We are a friendly family). In the end, students provided comprehensive information on our national dance “Yalli” and danced to this music.
The Azerbaijani corner prepared with the support of the Embassy featured books, brochures and other printed materials and some examples from our national cuisine.
