It should be noted that the laboratory offers favourable tools for students studying "Information Security" at the Faculty of Information Security and Management (FISAM) of the university to analyze various cyber-attacks, their defences, and certain cyber incidents.
The three-room laboratory is equipped with 30 computers and the necessary software. The rooms are divided into teams for the purpose of cybersecurity education. The laboratory software uses cybersecurity strategies and technologies for DLP (data loss prevention), implementation of high-level access and control, as well as SIEM ("Security Information and Event Management") systems that allow real-time monitoring and analysis of security incidents in the IT infrastructure.
SIEM systems are simulation software designed to help organizations detect, analyze, and respond to security threats such as cyber-attacks or unauthorized access attempts by collecting and analyzing data from various sources.
